Beautiful song by Joan Dausà featuring Maria Rodés and Santi Balmes, and famously used for a beer advert. Two caveats, though. The first is that the ad says "If we want to keep our way to live, shouldn't we protect what makes it possible?", while the song states that "There must be another way to live". So they are in contradiction. The beer company wants us to keep the status quo, so they slightly but decisively modified the message. The second caveat is that the songs says "there must be...", which is quite an understatement. There absolutely is another way to live. And it does not only involve saving turtles, but changing our everyday lives, turning vegan, staying away from the worst banks and so on. The song and the video advert are really appealing, though, and they were a step in the right direction. The initial lament of a damaged Earth and the subsequent reply from humankind are worth listening to.
